Freehand pen drawing is a major passion and starting point for inspiration. The great aspect to pen drawing is that you have to be bold and just have to go with that first line (at no point can you erase). Everyday objects and graphics are of particular interest rather like the Pop Art movement. As an inventive cook, marathon runner and health enthusiast it’s great to capture objects of personal use from Marmite, dark chocolate such as Lindt, Doisy and Dam and Willies Cacao, Peanutbutter (loving whole Earth, Meridian and Pip&Nut), Alpro, Mustard brands such as Maille and Colemans plus, as an avid baker flour brands such as Doves Farm and Shipton. Typography and lettering is great fun to draw!
